Fresh Hell

Many celebrities have had public meltdowns and fallen from the public’s good graces, but none as far as former Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Brent Spiner. On the comedy webseries Fresh Hell, Spiner portrays a fictional version of himself who has suffered an unspecified “incident” in his career that has made him toxic poison. With nowhere else to turn, he befriends a wannabe porn star Dakota, a penis-obsessed agent Tommy and a New Age psychic manager named Valerie to assist with reviving his now-dead career. Like many classic television sitcoms, Fresh Hell contains a wide assortment of off-beat characters that ultimately form a surrogate family, while the episodes themselves are filled with an ample portion of comedy and witty one-liners. Add the talent of Brent Spiner and an equally gifted supporting cast, and Fresh Hell is a classic television sitcom itself, even if it is a webseries.
